Andrew A. Dunlap

Andrew A. Dunlap is an Irving, Texas attorney with more than 45 years of legal experience. He focuses his practice on estate planning, probate, guardianship, and elder law, helping individuals and families protect assets, prepare for incapacity, and transfer wealth with clarity and confidence.

Mr. Dunlap earned his law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law while also pursuing graduate study in public administration. Before entering private practice, he interned with the Wyandotte County District Attorney’s Office and served as a commissioned officer and Staff Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force. His military service was recognized with two Air Force Commendation Medals, the Air Force Achievement Medal, the Overseas Service Medal, and the Longevity Service Award.

After his honorable discharge, Mr. Dunlap established his practice in Dallas. He later served as a partner at Landerman, Dunlap & Jacobs and as of counsel to White, Hill, Sims & Wiggins. His professional leadership includes serving as president of the J.L. Turner Legal Association, participating on State Bar committees, and representing the legal community as a delegate to the National Bar Association. He brings decades of litigation and counseling experience to practical estate planning and related family-protection matters.
